2010 APS Field Trips

Field Trip 2010-1: June 26/27, 2010; Medicine Hat area
This will be a two day trip to the Medicine Hat area wih a focus on Cretaceous vertebrate fossils. The registration deadline is June 4, 2010.

Field Trip 2010-2: July 17/18, 2010; Lethbridge area ammolite mines
We plan on visiting at least one active open-pit Cretaceous ammonite and gemstone Ammolite mine near Lethbridge. The registration deadline is July 2, 2010.

Field Trip 2010-3: August 21/22, 2010; Grassy Mountain, Coleman
This trip will be a re-visit of the Grassy Mountain coal mine just north of Blairmore to look for fossil plant remains. This is a long steep hike. The climb will take 2 - 3 hours. The registration deadline is July 30, 2010.

To register for a field trip, print off and fill out the SIGN UP SHEET
Then mail to Keith at the address indicated on the Sign Up Sheet along with the field trip fee, or give to Keith in person during the monthly meetings.
